Life is so full of beauty. You just have to find it and capture it.

Through the wall back into time.
This moment was captured so serendipitously. It was not until I saw the photo later that I saw how much it seemed that the children were walking into the scene depicted in this beautiful mural.
-
An industrial glimpse of Christmas.
I love how this photo captures the rawness of the metal pipes and stone walls and contrasts it with the colourful baubles and lights on the Christmas tree that you can see through the window.

Sighting a native.
A man with sits with his dogs in the center of Quebec City. I love the strong lines and edges in this image, and the pop of colour from the fire hydrant.
-
Jesus up on high
I was playing around with the lighting in this photograph. I love how vivid the stained glass window looks in the background in this low-exposure image.

The Grand Tetons.
The majesty of the Tetons is unparalleled. Never before has a mountain range so enthralled me and left me utterly spellbound. These mountains seem to rise out of nowhere, lording over the flat plains that surround them. They stand tall, proud, and untamed, for how could those jagged peaks be conquered? The Tetons are akin to Olympus, for a mountain range like this must only be a meeting place of the Gods.

Tunnel View, Yosemite.
Perhaps one of the most iconic vistas of the world, Tunnel View offers up the full glory of the sheer rock formations of Yosemite. From this viewpoint you can soak up the glory of El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, the glacial Yosemite Valley, and Half Dome way in the distance.

El Capitan, Yosemite.
Oh Captain, My Captain! This immense wall rises 3,000-ft from the floor of Yosemite Valley. It enraptures the imagination and dreams of mountain climbers. Countless movies have been made about the skill, strength, and determination that is required to scale El Cap’s magnificent granite face. The Dawn Wall.

Half Dome, Yosemite.
Far in the distance, towering above all else, is Half Dome - rising nearly 5,000-ft off the floor of Yosemite Valley - it stands 8,800 feet above sea level. I love how, in this photograph, you can see every crevice on the face of Half Dome, thanks to the snow. Its face looks formidable, but its rounded back has almost a friendly appeal to it. It was truly a privilege to get to see Half Dome in all its wintry glory.
